A.Celli Nonwovens is among the suppliers to WPT Nonwovens Corporation in its latest investment in Beaver Dam, KY. The Italian machinery specialist will supply a latest-generation winding line for the production of nonwovens.

WPT, a manufacturer of nonwovens for hygiene and filtration applications, is adding a new resin bonded production line that will add 100,000 square meters to its operation in mid-May. The company has been making lightweight nonwovens since 1978. It was purchased by Wayne Robbins in 2008.

The A. Celli contribution includes a “Stream” Master Roll winding system as well as Tandem Rewinder and a 6-Unit Spooling System. “We’re excited that WPT Nonwovens chose Beaver Dam to grow its business,” states mayr Paul Sandefur. “Any time you have a business willing to make an investment in the community and add new jobs, it’s a good thing. Good news just keeps coming Beaver Dam’s way and that’s good for all Ohio County!”
